Modernization of Nekázanka Office Building in Prague

The office building Nekázanka gained a more modern look after forty years. The headquarters of PZO Omnipol was built in the second half of the 1970s and it was one of the successful examples of international style especially for the plastic division of its street facade. We were the general contractor for this project. The building has nine aboveground and four underground floors and accommodates offices, café, a residential studio and an underground parking. The building has a completely new layouts, technical systems and street and courtyard façades. Most of the structure were kept from the original building but it was necessary to reinforce the structure. Two more floors were also added.
The project was awarded the Prize of the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction and the title CZ BIM in Building of the Year 2018.
