RECONSTRUCTION OF THE MÁJ DEPARTMENT STORE

The department store Máj in Prague, on the corner of Národní avenue and Spálená street, was completed in the year 1975 according to the design of the studio SIAL in Liberec, and it became a cultural heritage site in the year 2007. The overall reconstruction, preserving the character of the original architecture, brings a new and a more commercial utilization of the building. In addition to shops, refreshment stalls and other services, the building offers entertainment areas, and also the usage of the roof terrace is a new feature. During the renovation, we supplied the technical equipment - heating, cooling, sanitary installations, air conditioning and stable fire extinguishing equipment. Additional contracts included technologies for the supermarket and other rental premises.
