05/2020–08/2024

Client:
Správa železnic, s.o.
Designer:
SUDOP PRAHA a.s.
Contractor:
Subterra a.s., OHLA ŽS, a.s., Eurovia CS, a.s. and Elektrizace železnic Praha a.s.

The reconstruction of the 15-kilometre-long section of the railway line between Lysá and Labem and Prague mainly includes modifications of railway substructure and superstructure, traction lines and a new security equipment. In addition to the modernisation of stations and stops, the project includes a new stop Rajská zahrada near the metro station of the same name. The most striking element of the construction is the new look of the Prague-Vysočany station. The modern station with two island platforms and one outer platform is complemented by a new hall embedded in the ground and connected to the surrounding streets. Besides the tracks themselves, we worked on the construction of the operational building in Prague-Vysočany and on the technological equipment of the track.

The project was awarded the title Railway Construction of the Year 2023 in the category of Modernisation of Railway Stations and Junctions.
