Reconstruction of the Dolnolučanský Tunnel

Since this year’s mid-April, division 1 has been working on the reconstruction of the Dolnolučanský Tunnel, located on the Liberec–Tanvald railway line. The profile of the 19th century tunnel was enlarged by blasting works, while the tunnel was extended by approximately one tenth to 90 metres. Now the installation of the drainage system, waterproofing and preparation of the forwork for the concreting of the secondary lining is continuing. Division 1 is working around the clock on the project, which is due for completion in September.
