Completion of Excavation for the First Phase of Metro Line D Pankrác–Olbrachtova

On Monday, June 29, after four years, excavation work on Line D of the Prague Metro was completed in the Pankrác–Olbrachtova section, which is being carried out by an international contractor consortium led by division 5. In addition to the two-aisle Olbrachtova station and technical spaces, the 1.3-kilometer-long section also includes the single-aisle Pankrác station, the largest in the Prague metro. whose cross-sectional area, exceeding 400 square meters, had to be divided into eleven separate excavation sections, including the bottom pilot gallery.
