The railway line section Ševětín – Dynín is the part of 4th Transit Railway Corridor. This section is located near České Budějovice and it is four kilometres long. The purpose of the upgrade was an increase of the speed on the railway line to a maximum of 160 km/h. The upgrade included a reconstruction of the superstructure and substructure including changes to the alignment of main rails. In addition, a refurbishment of railway buildings and also the changes of railway stops and stations were carried out. In Dynín new platforms were built in the south and so the station got closer to the municipality. The platform of the Neplachov stop is now located on the embankment and it is accessible by an underpass under the highway. The construction also included the installation of a steel bridge, whose beam has a length of more than 13 meters.
