Aviatica building became the first commercial and office building built in the area of a former Walter factory in Jinonice. The glass building, whose curves were inspired by the production of aircraft engines, offers modern offices, premises for business and common spaces, as well as parking on the underground floors. The project meets the requirements of environmental certification LEED Gold. This was achieved thanks to modern and economical technical equipment. We participated in the installation of ventilation, heating and cooling, a sanitary installation and a fire extinguishing system.

The project was nominated for the competition Building of the Year 2015.

The complex “Mechanica” was built in the area of the former aircraft factory. It consists of 3 buildings which are connected by underground parking. The buildings “Mechanica 1” and “Mechanica 2” are newly constructed. The building “Walter” is the original building which was completely refurbished but many details have been preserved referring to the original interwar industrial architecture. It is a listed industrial building. The offices and shopping premises are located in the buildings “Mechanica 1” and “Mechanica 2” while the “Walter” building is used as a health centre. We supplied ventilation, heating and cooling, a sanitary equipment, and a fire extinguishing system. Thanks to modern technologies, the buildings not only offer high user comfort but also meet the LEED Gold certification criteria.
