The new Center for Materials, Mechanics and Technologies (CEMMTECH) is an addition to an older building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The four-storey building contains a lecture hall and other classrooms equipped with audio technology and, in particular, laboratories fitted with various machines and devices – for example, a bridge and column crane, melting furnaces, blasters, lathes, a 3D automatic welding machine, etc. We supplied a complete air-conditioning system for the building. Laboratories producing heat and waste required an above-standard execution of their ventilation, while in the areas where the teaching goes on, high demands were placed on low noise levels.
