A detached five-storey apartment building surrounded by trees is located in Vysočany in Prague. The reinforced concrete structure with 45 apartment units is characterized by its rugged arrangement and interconnection with the surroundings. The ground floor apartments offer front gardens, on higher floors there are balconies or terraces. The mass arrangement of the building with three staircases further supports its material and colour solution. The top floor and balconies are distinguished by grey plaster, the mass of the fourth floor and other elements are highlighted by wooden cladding. The transitions of various surfaces and the connection of exterior construction put great demands on details. Parking places are located underground and due to the proximity of the Rokytka stream, underground structures are made of waterproofing concrete.
