Restoration of Clam-Gallas Palace in Prague

As a general contractor Subterra a.s. works on the restoration of the Clam-Gallas palace, which is an important monument on Mariánské square in the centre of Prague. The large Baroque building from 1718 designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer of Erlach will be opened to the public after a complete restoration. The palace including the courtyard and gardens will be used as a restaurant or as a background for various cultural and social events or also for permanent and temporary exhibitions.

All the work run under the supervision of the historical monument care office and include the restoration of historic structures, the restoration of building and artistic elements, as well as the installation of the necessary technical equipment including elevators. It also includes repairs to the roof and facade.

The project was awarded the title Building of the Year 2022 and also won the CNN Prima News Public Choice Award.
